Network Security and Rate Limiting

To ensure Paradym is secure, stable and always available we limit certain requests to our services. If you’re using the API normally, you should generally not encounter any issues.

The network security policy applies to the following services:

Rate Limiting

All Paradym services enforce a limit on the number of requests. Each service maintains a separate limit. For example, requests to the dashboard do not count towards the limit on the API.

If you go over the limit of either, you won’t be able to make requests to the specific Paradym service anymore for the remainder of the limit.

Rate limits are measured based on IP address, and so are not affected by the user that is signed in, or the API key being used.

The current rate limit for all Paradym services are 200 requests per 10 seconds. If you exceed this rate limit you will get a 429 “Too Many Requests” response.

Blocked Regions

Paradym blocks requests from China, Russia and North Korea.
